This is I’yana Houston, the owner, creator and premier event curator at The Event Collective.

The Event Collective is a Full Service Event Planning Company that specializes in all things unforgettable. I’yana is among the youngest event planners in the world and her age does not defy her expertise.

I’yana has worked alongside various powerful and acclaimed individuals and companies allowing her to build exceptional skills, connections and understanding. She is and has always been considered an old soul that is very established and knows what she wants which is just one thing that makes her great at what she does. I’yana is very intentional with every aspect of an event because she understands that they are all different.

  1. I enjoy modern luxury and spending time in nature. An Elegant Free Spirit if you will.

  2. I am PASSIONATE about Smooth Jazz, Old School and R & B music. A lovely personality trait I inherited from my dad.

  3. I love cozy, fuzzy socks — after a day in heels, you’ll probably catch me in them by the end of your event!

  4. Once a red wine devotee, now I just toast to life’s sweeter moments.

  5. Laughter and positive thoughts are the best medicines ! For me at least.

  6. I’m a nurturer to my garden and a proud parent to a collection of thriving plants. (All growing up on me)

  7. I enjoy rollerskating (though I’m still working on my skills)

  8. I see life as an adventurous human experience — share moments, follow dreams, and live fully. Why not live the life of your dreams?!
